Sustainable Packaging
JDE Peet’s reached out with a clear mission: raise awareness around sustainable packaging and inspire associates to take ownership in supporting the company’s global sustainability goals. They already had a base to work with, presentation slides, animated explainer videos, and a set of quiz questions. My task was to bring it all together into a concise, engaging e-learning experience that would inform and activate learners.
Built for
JDE Peet’s is the world’s largest pure-play coffee and tea company, with over 50 brands in 100+ markets and 21,000+ employees.

💡My Approach
I began by reviewing the available materials and designing a structure that would give the course a clear rhythm and consistent feel. Each module follows a familiar pattern to support cognitive ease: a short intro, an animated video, a recap of the key points, and a five-question quiz to reinforce understanding.
The final module shifts the focus from awareness to action through three real-world case studies. Each one breaks down the why, how, and impact of sustainable packaging solutions already in place at JDE Peet’s, showing what’s possible, and encouraging learners to think about their own role.
🔧The Build
The full learning experience was developed in Articulate Rise, with visual elements designed in Canva. We held two feedback rounds using Articulate Review and Microsoft Teams to gather input, refine the flow, and ensure alignment with internal messaging.
✅The Result
The final module is now available to JDE Peet’s employees worldwide through their internal L&D platform. It plays a small but meaningful part in helping the company meet its packaging sustainability commitments, by making the mission personal, practical, and actionable.
